The Llywydd has written to all Assembly Members regarding the Plenary session on Tuesday, March 24, which will involve changes including limiting the number of members attending.

Please see below for the full text of the letter from the Llywydd, Elin Jones AM, to all Assembly Members.

Dear Members

Following the announcement of enhanced restrictions coming into effect on 24 March, I am writing to inform you of changes to plenary business for tomorrow.

Plenary will start as scheduled at 10am.  The order of business will be a statement from the First Minister on Coronavirus (COVID-19), a statement from the Minister for Health and Social Services on Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Legislative Consent Motion on the Coronavirus Bill, and emergency changes to Standing Orders agreed by Business Committee yesterday.

Business Managers have reached political agreement to limit the number of Members attending the Siambr (Government 6, Conservatives 3, Plaid Cymru 2, and Brexit Party 1).  I encourage independent members to do likewise.
