Get ready for a fantastic time at the Senedd this spring!

We've got a lineup of exciting, family-friendly activities that you won't want to miss.

Opening times - the Senedd and Pierhead

Monday – Friday: 09.00 - 16.30  

Saturdays and bank holidays: 10.30 - 16.30  

Last entry is 16.00  

Please note: the Senedd building is open before and after usual opening times to accommodate visitors viewing Plenary, committees and other Senedd business.

Build Your Own Rocking Dragon

Fflam, the Senedd dragon, is eager for some springtime fun. Can you create a rocking seesaw for Fflam to enjoy? 

Choose a design, colour Fflam in, and then cut, fold, and stick your shapes together to make your unique rocker.

With all materials provided and no need to pre-book, just come along and let your creativity blossom!

Our family-friendly area has lots of toys to play with and a large map of Wales to explore.

While the children are playing you can enjoy a coffee in the Senedd café, which is only a few feet away.

Monumental Welsh Women Exhibition

Join us for a special exhibition that celebrates the unveiling of five statues honouring pioneering Welsh women – Betty Campbell, Elaine Morgan, Cranogwen, Lady Rhondda and Elizabeth Andrews.

Discover new portraits by Ceredigion-based artist Meinir Mathias and learn about the incredible contributions of these women to Welsh history.

City of Portraits Exhibition
