Here in Wales we are renowned for producing world class entertainers.

With so many in the industry traditionally being reliant on performing to large groups of people, what does the future hold for performers now, and into the future? What impact will this have on our ability to nurture the next generation of talent?

Chaired by Kiri Pritchard- McLean (Comedian, writer, and creator of Comedy at the Covid Arms), our panel of guests include:

Henry Widdicombe (Founder of Machynlleth Comedy Festival)

Mari Beard (Actress, and Co-Creator of Merched Parchus)

Eädyth Crawford (Singer and Musician)

Gwennan Mair (Director of Creative Engagement, Theatr Clwyd)

The panel will discuss their experiences of adapting during the pandemic, how the industry and performers can adapt to continue to operate during this period, and what steps need to be taken longer term to secure the future for performers, and the sector as a whole.
