The Café
Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of Cardiff Bay while enjoying a freshly made coffee.
The café offers a wide selection of hot drinks, including teas, coffees, and hot chocolate, as well as a variety of refreshing cold beverages. Choose from our range of sandwiches, crisps, snacks, fruit and delicious cakes — including local favourites such as Welsh cakes and bara brith. We aim to accommodate all dietary needs wherever possible, with Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free options available on request.
The Senedd Café is the first and only venue in Wales to have achieved accreditation from the Kids in Museums Family Café Standard. The Family Café Standard is a benchmark that recognises cafés at museums and cultural attractions that are great for families, providing a warm welcome for everyone.
Our café is proud to be a breastfeeding friendly space. Please feel comfortable feeding your baby during your visit. If you’d like a quieter spot or need anything, just ask a member of the team.
Where possible we cater for all dietary requests. Please speak to a member of staff during your visit who will be happy to help, or contact us if you have a specific query before your visit.
