We are committed to promoting equality and improving accessibility to everybody, across each of the protected characteristics as defined in the Equality Act 2010. Our vision is to be a leading organisation in our commitment to promoting equality and improving accessibility to everybody.

Part of this commitment is ensuring that our buildings are accessible to visitors with autism and that our staff have been trained to welcome them.

This section has been developed to provide information to visitors with autism. We will continue to review, update and improve services to enhance the visitor experience to our estate.

Our estate includes the Senedd, Tŷ Hywel and the Pierhead in Cardiff Bay. Information for visitors with autism is available below on each of these buildings.

Information on how to get to the Senedd is available here: How to get to us.

Sensory issues across our estate

There are sensory issues that some visitors with autism should be aware of before visiting the Senedd. Some visitors may be hypersensitive to lighting, sounds, smells and touch.
