Tiger Bay and the Docks: 1880s – 1950s

In partnership with The Heritage and Cultural Exchange, three new displays have been created in the Pierhead that give visitors a glimpse into life in Tiger Bay and the docks from the 1880s – 1950s.

Wanderlust

The Wanderlust photography project aims to capture the rich and vibrant culture of the Gypsy and Traveller community through the camera lens. Dates: 3 June - 28 August 2025.

Rooted in Our Dhaqan

This summer, the Senedd is proud to host Rooted in Our Dhaqan, a new exhibition created by Hayaat Women Trust and Al Naaem magazine. The project is a powerful tribute to the strength, resilience, and beauty of Somali heritage. Dates: 22 July - 1 September 2025.

Have-a-go T-shirt Printing with Printhaus: Butetown Carnival special at the Senedd

Butetown Carnival returns to Cardiff Bay this August bank holiday weekend. Join us at the Senedd on Sunday 24 August, for a special session led by Printhaus. We’ll create our own Butetown Carnival T-shirts, inspired by this year’s theme: maritime.
