Non-Executive Member of the Wales Audit Office

Location: Wales

Remuneration: £12,500 per annum, non-pensionable, approximately 2-3 days per month.

The Senedd (Welsh Parliament) is looking to appoint a Non-Executive Member to the Wales Audit Office Board, to commence in July 2025.

In total the WAO Board comprises nine members, five of whom are non-executives (including the Chair) plus the Auditor General for Wales  and three employees of the WAO. The Non-Executive Members are appointed by the Welsh Parliament (‘the Senedd’). One employee member is nominated by the Auditor General and the other two are appointed by the Non-Executive Members following a ballot of WAO staff.
