NNDM4153 Jenny Randerson (Cardiff Central)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 22.50, agrees that Jenny Randerson may lay a proposed Order, to give effect to the outline proposed Order provided on 23 January 2009 under Standing Order 22.48, and an Explanatory Memorandum.

NDM4179 Lorraine Barrett (Cardiff South and Penarth): How can we eradicate puppy trafficking and puppy farms?

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

Notes the need to shape the Welsh Assembly Government’s capital programme in the most effective way to help ameliorate the impact of the economic crisis on Wales.

NDM4181 Peter Black (South Wales West)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to review its transport strategy with a view to giving greater priority to walking, cycling and public transport.

To propose that the Assembly resolves to adopt the following amendments to motions:

1. Peter Black (South Wales East)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to ensure that its procurement process provides a level playing field for small and medium sized Welsh businesses to bid for capital projects.

2. Peter Black (South Wales East)

Add new point at end of motion:

Believes that school and hospital capital projects should take priority over capital projects in the Welsh Assembly Government’s estate.

3. Peter Black (South Wales East)

Add new point at end of motion:

Believes that the Welsh Assembly Government should commit to increasing the amount of capital available to spend by working in partnership with the private and third sectors across all portfolios.

4. Alun Cairns (South Wales West)

Add new point at end of motion:

The National Assembly for Wales calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to abandon the project to upgrade its headquarters in Cathays Park, which could cost the public purse £42 million.

Add new point at end of motion:

Regrets the decision of the Welsh Assembly Government not to support the development of a proposed LCO on traffic free routes.
