Motion to suspend Standing Orders

NDM 4096 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

That the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Standing Orders 35.6 and 35.8:

Suspends Standing Order 7.18(i) and that part of Standing Order 6.10 that requires the weekly announcement under Standing Order 6.3 to constitute the timetable for business in Plenary for the following week, to allow the motions under Item 1 to be considered in Plenary on Tuesday 13 January 2009.

The Motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 7.35

Item 1: Motions to elect Members to Committees

NNDM4097 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Jenny Randerson (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Enterprise and Learning Committee in place of Kirsty Williams (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4098 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Peter Black (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee in place of Jenny Randerson (Liberal Democrat ).

NNDM4099 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Eleanor Burnham (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Communities and Culture Committee in place of Peter Black (Liberal Democrat ).

NNDM4100 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Kirsty Williams (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Children and Young People Committee in place of Eleanor Burnham (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4101 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Kirsty Williams (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Finance Committee in place of Jenny Randerson (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4102 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Mike German (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Audit Committee in place of Eleanor Burnham (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4103 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Jenny Randerson (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Standards of Conduct Committee in place of Kirsty Williams (Liberal Democrat).

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Peter Black (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Business Committee in place of Kirsty Williams (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4105 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Mike German (Liberal Democrat) as a member of the Subordinate Legislation Committee in place of Eleanor Burnham (Liberal Democrat).

NNDM4106 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3 elects Janet Ryder (Plaid Cymru) as a member of the Subordinate Legislation Committee in place of Dai Lloyd (Plaid Cymru).

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Section 84H of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, approves the Local Government Finance Report (No. 1) 2009-2010 (Final Settlement - Councils) laid in Table Office and emailed to Assembly Members on Tuesday, 6 January 2009.

In accordance with Standing Order 7.19 (iii), the amendment tabled to this motion has not been selected.
