To ask the First Minister

Mohammad Asghar (South Wales East): Given the First Minister’s responses to WAQ58197, WAQ58198, WAQ58199 and WAQ58200, why did he say in his response to WAQ57923 that “there is no published strategy specifically relating to the London 2012 Games” and indicate that steps to seize benefits for Wales associated with the 2012 Games would instead come from the Welsh Government's pre-existing Event Wales Strategy. Mohammad Asghar (South Wales East): Given the publication of ‘Securing the Legacy for Wales’, the Welsh Government’s Strategic Action Plan for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, why did the Welsh Government’s response to a Freedom of Information Request (ATI 5348) in September state that “there are no Welsh Government strategies in relation to Wales’ Olympic business performance or tourism benefits from the Olympics” and why did the response give no indication as to any future strategy being published. Andrew RT Davies (South Wales Central): With reference to recommendation 1 of the Enterprise and Learning Committee’s Report on the Implementation of the Teacher Workload Agreement, and following the publication of Estyn’s report in March 2009, what further action has been taken by the Welsh Government.
