Andrew RT Davies (South Wales Central): On what date did the First Minister first inform the previous Secretary of State for Wales that October 2010 was the Welsh Assembly Government’s preferred date for a referendum on stage 4 of the 2006 Government of Wales Act. (WAQ56070)

Please note that these are the number of projected jobs at the time of the offer.  Some companies do not take up their offer or do not create or safeguard the projected number of jobs for a number of reasons (in which case, the amount of support paid out is reduced accordingly).

Mike German (South Wales East): Will the Minister provide an update on the progress on access proposals to Severn Tunnel Junction for a future Gwent Parkway and would he outline the various route access options which are being considered. (WAQ56072)

Answer issued on 22 June 2010

My officials are working closely with Sewta to investigate access and parking improvements as well as considering a link from the M4 near the Second Severn Crossing Toll Plaza as part of a study into strategic park and ride to reduce traffic on the M4.
