Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has not been consulted on a Planning Application or held any pre-planning discussions with any operator seeking to re-open a quarry near Pentyrch.

Angela burns (Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire): Will the Minister provide an update on the progress of the Diamond review of higher education funding and student finance arrangements in Wales? (WAQ68781)

The Minister for Education and Skills (Huw Lewis): The Review Panel commenced work in April last year and has been making good progress.  The Panel is gathering and evaluating available data, research and other evidence, including the responses that were received as part of its recent Call for Evidence.  I encouraged anyone with an interest in student finance and the HE funding system to take this opportunity to respond to the Call for Evidence.  The Panel will give careful consideration to all the responses that were received, and these will also form part of the factual summary of evidence on which the Panel will report this autumn.  The Panel's final report and recommendations will be submitted by September 2016.

The Minister for the Economy, Science and Transport (Edwina Hart): My Officials are collating the data for the breakdown of KPI data for FY14/15 against the Jobs Supported, Number of Businesses Supported and Investment measures and I will publish these on the Enterprise Zone website when this work has concluded and to align with updating of the wider strategic plan overseen by the Boards.

Mark Drakeford: The Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC)  commissioned the Good Governance Institute to undertake the review, which is nearing completion.

Eluned Parrott (South Wales Central): On what date did the cancer pathway pilot, announced by the Welsh Government on 7 May 2014 end and when will the results of the pilot be published? (WAQ68790)

The Minister for Health and Social Services (Mark Drakeford):

The single cancer pathway pilot ran in six health board areas between May and September 2014. An evaluation of the pilot identified further development work was required.

Cwm Taf University Health Board will undertake a further pilot across all tumour sites from July 2015.
