Committee to hold inquiry into Workforce Planning

The Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee of the National Assembly for Wales will hold its first meeting of the new term at 9.30am on Wednesday September 19th. The Committee will discuss the terms of reference for its inquiry into Workforce Planning and will take evidence from the Chief Executive of the National Health Service in Wales, Ann Lloyd, and other Welsh Assembly Government Officials as part of that inquiry. Members will also examine the Welsh Assembly Government’s response to the Audit Committee report on the Ambulance Service.   Chair of the Committee Jonathan Morgan AM said: “The Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee has a large remit and has a great deal of work planned for this term. I look forward to the challenge and am eager to begin with the Workforce Planning Inquiry which will be our first task of the term.” The meeting takes place in Committee Room 1, the Senedd from 9.30am until 11.40pm.
