National Assembly business underway with all-Member Plenary session

17 May 2011

Assembly Members will meet on Wednesday 18 May in the second Plenary session of the new Assembly.

The meeting will take place at 1.30pm in the chamber at the Senedd.

The agenda for the session is as follows:

  • Item one: Tributes to the former Presiding Officer, The Rt Hon the Lord Elis- Thomas AM

  • Item two: Statement by the First Minister on his Cabinet appointments

  • Item three: Motion to appoint the Business Committee

  • Item four: Motion to approve Plenary business for 25 May

The Presiding Officer has determined that the third Plenary session will take place at 1.30pm on Wednesday 25 May. If the Assembly agrees at tomorrow’s meeting, the first set of First Minister’s Questions will be taken at the 25 May meeting. The agenda for this meeting will be published later this week.
