New Assembly Broadcasting Sub-committee created

The first meeting of the Assembly’s Broadcasting Sub-committee was held at the Senedd on Wednesday 5^th November.  This committee has been established by the Communities and Culture scrutiny committee.  Its remit is to report, by 4 December 2008 on the proposals in Phase 2 of Ofcom’s Public Service Broadcasting Review and to report on Ofcom’s final report on the future of public service broadcasting within two months of it being published.  The Sub-committee will cease to exist upon final report.

Nerys Evans AM will chair the Committee and its members are Paul Davies AM, Peter Black AM and Joyce Watson AM.
