Politics versus young people in Wales
Is the National Assembly really listening to young people in Wales?
18.00 – 19.30, Wednesday 12 October 2011
Pierhead, Cardiff Bay
The National Assembly for Wales and the Hansard Society will be hosting a panel discussion in the Pierhead to explore the relationship between young people and politics in Wales.
‘Politics versus young people in Wales’ will see an expert panel debate
a wide variety of issues affecting young people and their relationship with politics and the political system.
We want your views on a range of issues, including:
Are politicians and young people talking at each other rather than listening to each other?
Have politicians just paid lip service to the idea of getting young people enthused and knowledgeable about politics?
Do we need more imaginative and entertaining political literacy education in schools and colleges?
We want you to join in the discussion.
Please RSVP by emailing Assembly.Bookings@wales.gov.uk
or calling 0845 010 5500 by Wednesday 5 October.
We look forward to seeing you there.
