Politics versus young people in Wales

Is the National Assembly really listening to young people in Wales?

18.00 – 19.30, Wednesday 12 October 2011

Pierhead, Cardiff Bay

The National Assembly for Wales and the Hansard Society will be hosting a panel discussion in the Pierhead to explore the relationship between young people and politics in Wales.

‘Politics versus young people in Wales’ will see an expert panel debate

a wide variety of issues affecting young people and their relationship with politics and the political system.

We want your views on a range of issues, including:

  • Are politicians and young people talking at each other rather than listening to each other?

  • Have politicians just paid lip service to the idea of getting young people enthused and knowledgeable about politics?

  • Do we need more imaginative and entertaining political literacy education in schools and colleges?

We want you to join in the discussion.

Please RSVP by emailing Assembly.Bookings@wales.gov.uk

or calling 0845 010 5500 by Wednesday 5 October.

We look forward to seeing you there.
