The National Assembly for Wales will hold a minute silence at the Senedd today in memory of former Assembly Member Carl Sargeant, who died last week.

The Llywydd, Elin Jones AM, will open Plenary at 12.30 before calling for a minute silence which will be started and ended by the Senedd bell.

The Llywydd will then invite party leaders and Assembly Members to speak.

An hour has initially been allotted for tributes but timings will be flexible. The Llywydd will bring the session to an end before suspending proceedings until 14.00.

Formal Assembly Business will resume afterwards starting with First Minister's Questions.

Committee meetings will resume from Wednesday, 15 November onwards.

Meeting agendas will be published on the National Assembly website.

We'd like to remind the public that a book of condolence has been opened for visitors to the Senedd.

The agenda for today's Plenary meeting can be found here.
