Education Visits for Primary Schools

Join us at the Senedd for a unique, fun, and free learning experience.

About our education sessions

We offer six free sessions each week; every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Times: 10:00–12:00 or 13:00–15:00
  •  Location: Senedd, Cardiff Bay
  • Up to 60 pupils per session
  • Theme: You choose the theme that best suits your group
  • All sessions can be adapted for school councils and groups with additional learning needs

Each time slot hosts one session only. If a slot is fully booked, it’s unavailable for all themes.

We offer financial assistance for travel.

If your preferred date isn’t available, we’d still love to welcome you - ask us about audio tours, self-guided visits or group tours (note: travel support does not apply to these options).

My Voice, My Wales

Suitable for years 5 to 6, pupils will learn about the role of the Senedd and take part in a mini debate.

The Dragon Challenge

Suitable for years 3 to 4, pupils will use the Dragon Challenge activity booklet to explore the Senedd.

Sustainable Senedd

Suitable for years 4 to 6, pupils will explore the materials and design features of the Senedd.
