Robin Hood Tax

This Assembly;

Supports the Robin Hood Tax campaign’s call for the introduction of a financial transaction tax;

Notes that a tiny tax averaging 0.05% could raise hundreds of billions of pounds annually to tackle poverty and climate change, at home and abroad, including in Wales;

Urges the UK Government to do all possible to ensure that the Robin Hood tax becomes a reality.
