National Assembly for Wales Pays Tribute to the Life & Legacy of Charles Rolls

The 12th July 2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Wales’ first motoring and aviation pioneer Charles Rolls from Llangattock, Monmouthshire. Together with Frederick Henry Royce he co-founded the Rolls-Royce car manufacturing firm, one of the most iconic and successful aero-engine manufacturing companies in the world.
