Action on Stroke Month
This Assembly:
Notes that May 2013 is Action on Stroke Month, during which the Stroke Association will:
publish research highlighting the emotional impact of stroke; and
join forces with Community Pharmacists and public health colleagues to run a Wales wide campaign to combat high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation – two of the biggest risk factors for stroke – to prevent strokes.
Welcomes Action on Stroke Month’s aim to:
strengthen the voice of stroke survivors and their carers;
raise stroke awareness; and
champion improvements in life after stroke services.
