This Assembly:

Notes cancer is the single largest cause of death from disease in children; that every day, 10 children hear that they have cancer; treatment normally starts immediately but is often given many miles from home and can last three years.

Calls on the Government to address barriers stopping children with cancer from continuing their education; which may get in the way of access to vital financial support, and which prevent them from receiving care close to home.

Calls on the Government to ensure the NHS continues to support cancer survivors after they've received treatment in an appropriate manner.
