Independent Panel Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse

This Assembly:

a) Notes both the significance of the Independent Panel Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse to the people of Wales, and the significance of Wales to the Inquiry;

b) Notes the divergence of the social services and safeguarding systems of England and Wales;

c) Calls on the Home Secretary to appoint, after consultation with the Welsh Government, a suitable candidate to the Independent Panel to represent the interests of Wales.
