Assembly offers opportunity to congratulate Royal couple

A message book will be available in the Senedd for members of the public to leave messages of congratulations to H.R.H. Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton to mark their marriage on 29 April 2011.  

The book will be available in the main reception area of the Senedd from 18 April to 6 May.

“As Prince William and Catherine Middleton are living on Ynys Môn, and will continue to enjoy their early married life together there, it is most appropriate that the people of Wales have this opportunity to wish them well personally,” said Presiding Officer Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas.

Other message books will also be available to sign at:

• Welsh Government office, Cathays Park, Cardiff

• Welsh Government office, Sarn Mynach,  Llandudno Junction   

• Welsh Government office, Ffordd Parc-y-Llyn, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth

• Welsh Government office, Rhydycar Business Park, Merthyr Tydfil

The books will be compiled into a suitable volume for presentation to the Royal couple after the wedding.
