Assembly to celebrate children’s day at Llangollen International Eisteddfod

The National Assembly for Wales will celebrate children’s day on Tuesday 10th July at its exhibition stand at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod with the help of the musical group ‘Y Gwallgofiaid.’   Mr. Lime, the festival’s environmental Mascot who is there to teach children about recycling and saving of resources, will be pleased to see the musicians helping children to make musical instruments by recycling old household objects and then use electronic sampling equipment to record the music they make with them.  The aim is to create music and rhythms in keeping with the festival’s ‘Conserving Precious Resources’ theme and to perform the piece of music at the end of the day.
