Audit Committee to discuss Elwa finances

The Assembly Audit Committee will be taking evidence on the Auditor General for Wales’s report on Elwa finances at its next meeting. Dr Steve Marshall, Director of the Department of Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, Welsh Assembly Government, will be amongst those giving evidence to the Committee. At the same meeting, members will be looking at estates management and procurement in the further education sector. They will also be considering advice from the Auditor General on the WAG response to the Committee’s report on protecting NHS staff from violence and the out-of-hours GP service in Cardiff.
