Audit Committee to quiz NHS chief over progress on waiting times

The Assembly Audit Committee is to question Ann Lloyd, head of the Assembly Government’s Health and Social Services Department, about progress made in addressing previous Committee recommendations on NHS waiting times. At the same meeting the Committee will take evidence from Ms Lloyd and the Permanent Secretary, Sir Jon Shortridge, on the Auditor General for Wales’s report on the Assembly accounts and NHS bodies. Members will also consider the Assembly Government’s response to the Committee’s report on the National Botanic Garden. The meeting takes place in Committee Room 3, Senedd, at 1.30pm on Thursday July 6. Full details and an agenda
