The Chair of the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee, David Rees AM, has issued the following statement in response to correspondence from the Auditor General for Wales concerning preparedness for Brexit.
Mr Rees said:
"The External Affairs Committee welcomes the correspondence from the Auditor General for Wales which joins our own body of work in examining Brexit preparedness.
"In particular, the need for organisations to sustain collective working, alongside the need for effective communication with the public chimes with our own previous findings in this area.
"We will be discussing the report's findings in detail before considering whether there are areas in need of further consideration."
