Culture Committee to hear evidence from Welsh football clubs

The Assembly’s Culture, Welsh Language and Sport Committee will be hearing evidence from two Welsh football clubs in its next meeting. Cardiff City, and Newport County will be giving evidence as part of the Committee’s review of football in Wales. The Committee will also hear from the BBC and S4C as part of the review. At the same meeting, Members will receive an update on the consultation by the Welsh Assembly Government on the merger with the Welsh Language Board and a written statement from Minister Alun Pugh on the Committee’s report into Dance in Wales. The Committee will also consider a draft response to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on the White Paper “A public service for all: the BBC in the digital age”.
