Finance Committee to scrutinise Welsh Government budget

The National Assembly for Wales’ Finance Committee is set to scrutinise the Welsh Assembly Government’s budget at its next meeting on January 17th. The Committee will question Andrew Davies, Minister for Finance and Welsh Assembly Government officials about the proposed spending for the year ahead.   Alun Cairns AM, Chair of the Finance Committee, said: “The Committee and I look forward to this final opportunity to scrutinise the Welsh Assembly Government’s budget for the next financial year to ensure that the budget best serves the people of Wales and ensures the delivery of high quality public services. The draft budget was scrutinised intensively and I look forward to seeing whether the Government has taken the issues raised by the committee into consideration.” More details about the Committee
