Multiple Sclerosis Society petition asks Welsh Government to protect specialist nurses

A petition calling on the Welsh Government to ensure that the numbers of MS specialist nurses are not reduced over the length of the Fourth Assembly was handed in to the Assembly's Petitions Committee on Wednesday 9 November.

The petition, submitted by the MS Society, asks for existing MS specialist nurses to be protected from Health Board cuts, and for additional investment to be provided where there are shortages.

The petition aims to ensure that, for every 300 people living with MS, 1 specialist nurse is provided.
