National Assembly wants your views at the Denbigh and Flint show

16 August 2011

The National Assembly for Wales will continue its summer tour of events at the Denbigh and Flint Show on Thursday (18 August).

Staff will be on hand to find out what issues, within the Assembly’s devolved fields, are important to visitors.

Workshops and other activities will also take place informing people who their new Assembly Members are and showing them how to influence what the Assembly does.

“The ‘yes’ vote in the March referendum means that more of the decisions affecting the people of Wales are made in Wales,” said Presiding Officer, Rosemary Butler AM.

“Therefore it’s more important than ever for those decisions to be made with the knowledge and opinions of Welsh people.”

“So I would urge any visitors to the Denbigh and Flint show to go along and find out how they are represented and how they can get involved.”
