New Assembly Member for South Wales East sworn in

Veronica German has been sworn in as the new Liberal Democrat Assembly member for the South Wales East Region.

She will also become the Liberal Democrat’s Shadow Minister for Health, Local Government and Equality

And she will sit on the Petitions Committee, the Equal Opportunities Committee, the Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee and Legislation Committee No. 3.

Mrs German has a background in science and engineering and as a former teacher she cares passionately about education and young people.
