Sporttrain petition handed in at the Senedd

A petition calling for the Welsh Government to retain the community services that Sporttrain provides in Rhondda and Grangetown was handed to the Petitions Committee at the Senedd on 29 November.

Sporttrain services are for young people and include employment training, engagement training for those not in education, employment or training (NEET), community learning, welfare, support and counselling and community sports coaching and activities.


The petition was handed in to members of the cross-party Petitions Committee, chaired by William Powell, AM for Mid and West Wales.
