On 14 November, representatives from north Wales branches of Citizens Advice Cymru attended a training day organised by the north Wales Outreach team in National Assembly for Wales’ office in Colwyn Bay. The day began with a presentation on Understanding and Engaging with the Assembly, delivered by the Assembly’s Outreach Manager in north Wales. This was followed by a discussion with Mark Isherwood AM, Antoinette Sandbach AM and Aled Roberts AM. They talked about their role as Assembly Members and how they represent the north Wales region in the Assembly. The final session was a presentation by a member of the Assembly’s Petitions Committee where participants learned about the Assembly’s Petitions process. Participants said their knowledge of the Assembly had improved during the day and that they had found the session with the Assembly Members to be the most useful.
