The National Assembly for Wales is helping Welsh Cubs earn their Democracy Challenge Badge with a new range of resources that were launched at the All Wales Cub Fun Day on Saturday, 15 June 2013 in Builth Wells.

The Democracy Challenge Badge encourages young people to explore and learn about the democratic processes of the United Kingdom, Wales and Welsh local authorities, to ensure that they are better placed to make their own judgments in the future and to take part in democracy.

Scouts Fun Day

As part of the Democracy Challenge Badge the National Assembly for Wales has created resources that will help Scouts, from every age range, to complete some of their requirements in a fun and interactive way.

The day is was attended by 3,000 Cubs aged between 8 and 10 years old, as well as more than 800 adults.
