On 12 December 2013, the Research Service hosted an event in the Assembly with Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre on next year’s Scottish independence referendum. Professor James Mitchell from the University of Edinburgh, a leading expert on Scottish politics, was the main speaker with introductions and opening comments provided by Owain Roberts from the Research Service.
